Swipe to slide the tiles, and two matching letters merge into the next one — A + A = B, B + B = C, all the way to Z. Easy to learn in seconds, genuinely hard to master.
How it works

The whole board slides at once. Every tile packs tight against the edge you swiped towards.
Merge
Two of the same letter become the next letter up. A and A make a B. B and B make a C.

Questions about Zed
What do I need to play?
An iPhone or iPad running iOS/iPadOS 26 or later.
Is the Daily really the same for everyone?
Yes. Every player in the world gets the same board and the same sequence of letters each day. Turn on the evening reminder in Settings so you don't lose your streak.
Where do my scores and stats live?
On your device, and in your own private iCloud database. That means we cannot see them. Make sure iCloud Drive is enabled in iOS/iPadOS Settings and your stats will follow you to a new iPhone.
I bought Remove Ads and it has gone.
Open Zed, go to Settings and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it on. If it still doesn't come back, email us and we'll sort it.
What does Zed collect about me?
Your games and stats stay on your device and in your private iCloud database. The free version shows third-party ads. The full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
How do I report a bug or ask for a feature?
Email hello@4b.studio — it comes straight to us, not a queue. Include your iPhone/iPad model, iOS/iPadOS version and the app version from Settings → About. More on the support page.
